Air Soft Rifle marksmanship training is an activity designed to develop safety skills and attention to detail. We use Air Soft Rifles, as opposed to “real” weapons in order to keep this activity fun and safe for all of our recruits.

Despite these weapons being non-lethal, we teach our recruits that every gun is a loaded one, and must be handled using safety measures. Any horseplay is not tolerated; recruits that are deemed to not participate in this activity safely will be removed from participation without warning.

Recruits learn the proper care and handling of the air soft rifles and learn how to use the four fundamentals of rifle marksmanship. They enjoy this activity, as it is regarded as a camp milestone. Also, they can watch their progress as they improve their aim as time elapses. We enjoy watching recruits hit the paper target, and progress to reaching their personal goals.
